Kyiv, August 2017
I led an animation workshop for children at the Pinchuk Art Centre, a centre for contemporary art in Kyiy, Ukraine, which centred around the topics of trash and animation. The aim of the workshop was to show how trash can be used used in creative ways, in this case to make a stop-motion animation. I tasked the children to bring pieces of trash with them, like bottle caps, batteries etc. out of which we would then make a simple animation.
You can watch an extract of the workshop and the final animation we came up with below. Enjoy!
