Location of shoot: Mana Pools National Park, Zimbabwe
Time of shoot: 2016
In September 2016 I travelled to the Zimbabwean national park Mana Pools, not only the most remote national park in Zimbabwe (due to strong floods it is closed for tourists in the rain season), but also appointed UNESCO world heritage site.
While on the trip through the national park I got the chance to photograph nature in its most pristine form, so I thought it would be worth sharing my photo series with you.
For the close-up shot of the rhinoceros I won the first place of the 2016 Zimbabwe National Photo Competition in the youth category.
